Motorities Transporter with wheels

Dunhill may be synonymous with very British luxury goods for men, but there was a time when its heart lay in motor oil and engine grease. Back in 1893 founder Alfred Dunhill created his Motorities line - a groundbreaking range of products for the then faddish new occupation that was motoring. dunhill’s Motorities designed everything from gadgets to clothing, car covers to accessories for the motorist. It is with the same spirit that dunhill now launches its first line bearing the revived Motorities name: a range of casual bags created in conjunction with leather goods designer Bill Amberg. Motorities is a collection that typifies Amberg’s ergonomic approach to design.
Includes an orange storm cover that zips up to double as a travel cover, numerous inner and outer pockets, a safety clip, padlock and a luggage tag.
With an adjustable shoulder strap and shoulder pad, this transporter has numerous internal functionalities that make it an excellent piece of luggage for the traveller. It features the protective Motorities storm cover and the large storage capacity, has durable PVC wheels and a “tuck away” handle. The bottom of the bag has been reinforced for increased durability.
Price: £695.00

Strellson in Paris

strellson-parisIn collaboration with a French trading partner, Claude Bentata, Strellson opened their first monostore in Paris, the fashion metropolis, this month.
This is the twelfth monostore in a row that Strellson has opened with partners from the retail trade. Dubai, Moscow and Amman among others were the precursors, and were important milestones in the Strellson success story.
Fashion excites people and fashion needs a platform. In order to present the Strellson fashion world and the brand competently, it is essential for the company to have its own spaces. In the new monostore in Paris, the two product lines Premium (ready-to-wear) and Swiss Cross (sportswear) are skilfully presented together.
The shop design in steel, black wood and glass, with a grey slate floor, sets off the clear concept of the business and ready-to-wear collections of Strellson Premium.
For the presentation of the Swiss Cross sportswear, white acrylic glass, lit from within, is generously used, along with stainless steel.
For VIP customers a special shopping area has been created at the back of the shop. Here Strellson man can count on receiving styling advice and special service, undisturbed, in a personal club atmosphere, with a bar and plasma display.
Further shops of this kind are planned world-wide.

Men’s Suits on 2005 - Brioni

For all of the pleasures of bespoke suits, there are downsides to them as well. For one thing, fittings take a lot of time. For another, the best ones cost a fortune. Now, of course, there are some people for whom the status imparted by a bespoke suit is important enough to justify the cost. The knowledge that one is wearing the most expensive suit in the room can serve as a kind of psychological armor. Of course, many have a genuinely physical need. The extremely tall, short, skinny or round, for example, often have dimensions that only a custom-tailored suit can accommodate. Fortunately for the rest of us, there are enough excellent off-the-rack suits that, with an alteration here and a cuff there, fit nearly as well as bespoke for considerably less money.
Brioni suit on James BondThe name Brioni first appeared in 1945 when master tailor Nazareno Fonticoli and fashion designer Gaetano Savini opened one of the first men’s fashion houses in Rome’s central Via Barberini. The two partners named it Brioni after one of the most elegant resorts on the Adriatic coast. Its custom tailoring was a favourite haunt of Europe’s aristocracy and has remained a reference point for quality shopping to this day. Brioni’s Italian style expressed a new way of dressing for men immediately after the first world war. It was instantly accepted because it managed to unite renewal with a classic stylish cut. Interest grew as the Brioni collections went from one success to the next and enthusiastic buyers flocked to the fashion shows. Their first historic show was held in 1952 at Palazzo Pitti in Florence and soon Brioni became the first true ambassador of men’s fashion in the world.
The epitome of the power look, Brioni’s wide-shouldered, slim-waisted and sharply tailored suits ooze authority, making them favorites of the self-consciously stylish, from former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown to U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan to Donald Trump. All that clout comes at a price, however: from $4,200 to $7,500 for “ready-to-wear” numbers in every conceivable material. This charcoal gray cashmere for Fall 2005 runs $6,000. Available at men’s specialty retailers nationwide and at Brioni boutiques in New York and Beverly Hills.

Namiki Dunhill-the 75th anniversary

These pen bear the same design as those of the original 1930’s fountain pens, which were in turn adapted from traditional Japanese designs. The stylized subjects of oriental designs are natural forms, pared down to express their essence or spirit. There is often a symbolism attached to the subjects which explains the appearance of the same designs again and again in Japanese works of art.
Only 200 individually numbered pens were produced in each design, with the exception of the Rakucho of which only 100 were made.
The Quail is enhanced with a gold breat and intricately speckled feathers. The quail is beautifully balanced by the autumn plants native to Japan.
Only the finest nib could qualify for an Alfred Dunhill Namiki fountain pen. Hand ground in 18ct gold, this nib is zipped in iridium mined from the Northern Japanese island of Hokkaido.
With it’s special hardening and protecting qualities, iridium ensures a nib of exceptional flexibility and durability. This, in conjunction with the most technologically advanced fountain pen mechanism available in the world today, means these pens are characterized by an unparalleled smoothness of writing and ink flow.

Nike ID

The NIKE iD Web site provides a fun and easy way for users to customize and buy footwear and gear. The site transforms the visitor into a designer, allowing them to apply their own choice of colors and materials to a broad range of shoes, bags and equipment. In this redesign of the site, the original HTML version was completely replaced using Flash in order provide a more inspiring and vibrant experience in keeping with the dynamic and innovative characteristics of the NIKE brand. The result has been a site that soundly outperforms its HTML predecessor in terms of both user experience and commerce effectiveness. A more intuitive design interface, which includes visual call-outs and audio cues, helps guide users through the build process and has generated a higher completion rate for product builds. The new design also reduces the time it takes to add new products to the site by more than 80 percent.

K2 T1 Boot with Boa Liner

K2-SnowboardThe purpose of the project was to reinvent K2 Snowboard’s top of the line T1 boot, integrating new technological advances and styling. Snowboard boots traditionally have two lacing systems, one for the internal liner and another for the shell (or exterior). To instantly release the tension on the cable system, the rider just pops the Boa dial out. The 2004-2005 K2 boot line, of which the flagship model is the T1, has increased sales volume by 25 percent over the previous season.
