Sautoir a new couture and luxurious line

Anneaux-SautoirThe French word sautoir refers to a long chain necklace or a chain to which a pendant is attached. The Daniel Swarovski Couture Line has just such seductive sautoirs. Grace the outfit you wear to summer galas or cocktail parties with sophisticated glamour for an enchanted evening. Give light and low-cut garments an eye-catching focus of attention.
The new Poetic Journey collection also presents one of this summer’s hottest trends: chunky chain-link necklaces. The Anneaux Sautoir is 126 cm (49 in.) long with links in fine Silk and Golden Shadow crystal beading. Its exquisite chain design gives all honour to the name “sautoir”.
The Arc-en-ciel Sautoir is a gold-plated open scarf necklace with striking asymmetrical beadwork. The Aurora Borealis effect allows it to shimmer in bluish hues. It can be draped around the neck in a variety of different ways.
Back-free evening dresses have become the perfect setting for long necklaces. Wear this sautoir with its ends beautifying your back. Primed with a gold sheen lotion the attention will be all yours!

Diamond Drop Earrings $8.5 million

Earrings by Henry WinstonMost expensive jewels in the world
Harry Winston, also known as the “ultimate jeweler,” has created some of the most exceptional pieces of jewelry adorned with some of the most fabulous gemstones ever discovered. The Jonker, the Niarchos, the Taylor Burton, the Winston, the Star of Independence, the Star of Sierre Leone, the Idol’s Eye, the Arcots, the Nepal, the Briolette and the Indore Pear Shapes are some of the many magnificent diamonds that have been in the company’s possession.
Without question, Harry Winston has done as much to define American style as any other luminary before or since. While jewelry until the 1930’s focused on metal settings and smaller stones in geometric designs, Winston invented a dramatically new aesthetic. His glowing, flowing designs celebrated the incomparable luminosity of larger stones positioned in invisible settings. Diamonds, and in truth American style, were changed forever more.

Luxury bag from Fendi- Mink Spy

This new Mink Spy Bag is decorated with plush mink fur that’s imported from Denmark. The mink fur with the silver-tone mesh metal handles is a perfect combination for dazzling luxury. This bag is decorated with satin lining and a hidden python coin purse with a snap closure. Although I like the tradition Fendi Spy bag in the plain but classic leather, this one has won me over. It’s a cute bag to carry around during the cold wintery season. The Mink Spy Bag (11″H X 17″L X 9″W) is available at select stores for $9,450 on black and white colours.

Swarovski Runway Rocks at Paris Couture Week - January 2006

Swarovski, the world’s largest producer of cut crystal, has commissioned leading international designers from the worlds of jewellery and fashion, to create their ultimate vision of jewellery for the Catwalk. The designers have each been invited to find new creative expressions for crystal, challenging conventions of form and function, playing with colour, volume and proportion, bridging jewellery, body ornament and fashion. In each individual, thought-provoking, couture-inspired design, Swarovski crystal is the hero. The result is Swarovski Runway Rocks.

Swarovski couture

This dazzlingly provocative collection of hand-made, one-of-a-kind, original Runway Rocks crystal creations, unveiled during Paris Couture in the lavish surroundings of the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo, includes works by names from around the world, including Vanessa Seward of Azzaro, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Hussein Chalayan, Antonio Berardi, Rodolphe Rousseau, as well as top jewellery designers Philippe Ferrandis, Johnny Rocket and Pianegonda, and directional accessories designers, Ed Griffiths, Johanne Mills, and DoAn. From Hussein Chalayan comes a cape with an integral kinetic jewelled collar, showing crystal in motion, while Rodolphe Rousseau embraces his signature draped and pleated bodice with an exquisite crystal-studded chained harness, architectural and Art Deco in flavour.

Swarovski & Stella McCartney

Swarovski is delighted to collaborate with Stella McCartney’s art installation at Belsay House for “Fashion at Belsay”.
Using 7000 Swarovski crystals Stella has created a stunning three dimensional chandelier in her signature design; a horse. Reaching over four metres high Stella’s magical and romantic horse, named ‘Lucky Spot’, mottles the stonewalls of Belsay’s Great Hall.

Swarovski is thrilled to be involved in Stella McCartney’s installation at Fashion at Belsay: “Swarovski’s commitment to work with the best designers in the field of fashion, design and art to produce innovative and creative designs is exemplified by this project.” says Nadja Swarovski.
Stella McCartney adds “I loved working in an historical setting to create something with a modern edge. I wanted to recreate the powerful and sensual image of a rearing horse but still have a delicate side to it by using Swarovski crystals.”
