Roxana Illuminated Perfume’s New Perfume Chiaroscuro

Roxana Illuminated Perfume's New Perfume Chiaroscuro

Roxana Villa and Greg Spalenka (a happy couple) introduced their works at the Fragrance Salon together: Greg illustrates Roxana’s works with his paintings. The last fragrance, made especially for Roxana’s birthday, got its own beautiful painting. The name of the new perfume is Chiaroscuro and it’s based on jasmine. If you’re imagining the sheer jasmine we often meet in perfumes, you are wrong. This time, working on her birthday flower, Roxana decided to go very dark and dirty.

The composition of this scent is “turned upside down”—it starts dense and darkly animalic (“in the dark, dark forest…”), but with time the composition gets lighter, as if we are traveling from the bottom notes to the top. As Roxana said, “it’s jasmine, portrayed in tonal contrasts of aromatic cool brightness and a warm resonant depth.”

Roxana Illuminated Perfume had the most impressive installation at their booth. Roxana even brought her own bees, these hard-working girls (they are all girls!) produce an important ingredient for Roxana’s perfumes—wax and honey.

All Roxana’s perfumes are made of 100% natural ingredients, which color the juices in such attractive bright nuances.
