Valbonne by Molton Brown

Valbonne by Molton Brown

Molton Brown is adding another fine fragrance to their beautiful collection Navigations Through Scent. The new fragrance is an edition for women and men, called Valbonne (43° 38′ N, 7° 0′ E), named after a town in France, in the Grasse region.

This floral perfume was created by Jennifer Jambon, head perfumer at Molton Brown. The perfumer explains that she was inspired for this creation by traditional tanners and leather-glove makers who used to add scented essential oils to make their products fragrant. The modern mixture of flowers and leather was achieved in the new fragrance.

Valbonne opens with luminous bergamot and orange blossom. The floral heart blooms with Provencal rose, mimosa and iris, while the whole composition closes with strong aromas of leather and vetiver.

Molton Brown has launched their fine fragrances collection inspired by a tour around the world—Navigations Through Scent. This exquisite collection made of the finest ingredients arrived on the market in September 2011.

The collection includes six fragrances so far, each of them representing one location along the ancient spice route.

Flacons of these niche fragrances are all the same—very elegant, as if they were made of crystal. The see-through gems are topped with silver stoppers inscribed with the names of the fragrances. All fragrances are be available as 50 ml.
