Queen Of Love by Zenith - art is a cry in the desert

A hot breath sweeps the plain. The sun splits the ground, the white light strikes the brown stone. Here, nature doesn’t lost its rights forever. With far is detached a proud silhouette overlapping a thoroughbred race. Warriors massed, sentinels of the desert, assemble the guard on the rock. Coppered skin, hair with the wind, it carries new the Baby Open Star Coils. Small last of the range, it comes S? to add to the Open Star, the stop watch become in the whole world of female emblem of Manufacture ZENITH. Whereas its large on reveals in its heart the exhaust of the gauge El Primero, the Baby Open Star Coils shelters in a case reduced to 32 mm a new automatic movement Elite 68. Placed in a design dedicated to the love, it palpitates, valiant, proudly exhibant its small second in the shape of heart which makes a full rotation on itself in one minute. Round like the curves of femininity, it proposes a new interpretation with the removed from rim partition of passion: a removable bracelet of force out of oiled silk, oversize indices, a fleshier heart, a softened case. Condensed, but always also burning, it speaks about love, with tenderness.

To the colors fetishes of the red range passion, major black or luminous white are added in limited series the 2006 beige sands, purple Parma and the brown ZENITH, out of Star as in Baby Star. On the models in yellow gold or pink, the dial becomes animated in folded sun and a shiver undulates under the ice sapphire. On the glasses, a setting glance lights the fire of the desire.
Always also daring, the range associates happiness the spirit Manufacture and a creativity in freedom. It affirms high and strong that the beauty and the intelligence can cohabit, and that insolence is possible when it allots absolute quality. Because one can face the codes of the propriety only in only one condition: a perfect technique been useful by an exemplary know-how.

Pirelli Group makes its film debut with its presentation in Rome , in the ancient atmosphere of the Diocletian Baths (400 B.C.), of the first Pirellifilm, an innovative communication project that will take place over several years and consists in the production of superb short films to be broadcast over the Internet.
Created for the worldwide promotion of the Pirelli image, which has always been acclaimed for its innovation, quality and brand leadership, this project combines Cinema and the Internet and uses them as a new communication tool that joins the instruments traditionally used by the group.
The leitmotiv of all the Pirellifilm short films will be the claim, “Power is nothing without control”, the protagonist of several of Pirelli’s famous international advertising campaigns, which will be interpreted differently each time by international film stars.
The first short film, which can be seen starting today at www.pirellifilm.com , is “The Call” starring John Malkovich and Naomi Campbell . The director is Antoine Fuqua, who directed “Training Day” and “King Arthur”. Filmed with a dark, gothic mood in a mysterious, tempting nighttime Rome , “The Call” is a breath-taking thriller of just 8 minutes and 45 seconds that depicts the eternal battle between Good and Evil.
Its “Caravaggio-like” colors and moods are obtained through skillful photography that elegantly plays with contrasting light and shadow, blending the chiaroscuro effects of the film, which was shot last fall in Rome in great secrecy to prevent the project and the name of its stars to be revealed in advance. It took five days to film on various locations - Borgo Santo Spirito, the streets of Rome , and an abandoned warehouse outside of Rome - and 4 months of post production. Nearly 120 persons worked non-stop on the set.

Best museum - De Young, San Francisco

Founded in 1895 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, the de Young Museum has been an integral part of the cultural fabric of the city and a cherished destination for millions of residents and visitors to the region for over 100 years. On 15 October 2005, the de Young museum re-opened in a new facility designed by the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron and Fong & Chan Architects in San Francisco. The new de Young provides San Francisco with a landmark art museum to showcase the museum’s significant collections of American art from the 17th through the 20th centuries, modern and contemporary art, art from Central and South America, the Pacific and Africa, as well as an important and diverse collection of textiles.
de-young-museumThe new unconventional building draped in dramatic copper skin will house new commissioned works as well as its significant collections of 17th to 20th century American paintings, including art from around the globe. The first rotating special exhibition will be Egyptian Art from Queen Hatshepsut’s reign (1473-1458 BC), showing the significance of a woman ruling in a patriarchal society.
Within the landscape design, historical elements from the original building of 1895 have been incorporated, such as the sphinx sculptures, the Pool of Enchantment and the original palm trees. With the collections in its sister museum, the Legion of Honor, San Francisco has one of the largest art museums in the US.

The colection of museum:
American Painting
American Sculpture & Decorative Art
African Art
Oceanic Art
The Jolika Collection of New Guinea Art
Textiles
Art of the Americas
The Dorothy and George Saxe Collection of Contemporary Craft
The views from the top of the deYoung Museum tower are incredible. You can see downtown skyscrapers; the Marin headlands, and sometimes the Pacific Ocean. You can see down to the museum’s architecture and copper roofing. The controversial architecture is exciting the architecture community and all of San Francisco. This Herzog & de Meuron designed museum is a touchstone for any fan of 21st century design. The museum’s president was attracted to the design team after seeing a uniquely designed signal box and depot at a train station.
Design cues for the museum were taken from the surrounding Golden Gate Park. The intention was was to have the building be light, strange, and blend with the park’s setting. The copper skin of the building will age and patina into a green tone over the next 15 years. The twisting tower is the building’s unique trademark to align it with the pattern of San Francisco’s streets.
The art galleries flow together and match with the art collections styles. The size, style, and lighting of galleries differs based on the art itself. The light variance is most pronounced in areas that allow views out of the museum to the park’s beautiful surrounding gardens. The museum’s primary intention is to connect the museum viewer with the outside world. The de Young Art museum allows people, art, San Francisco, and nature to be joined as one.

Alberto Ruiz Gallardón, the mayor of Madrid, has pulled the lever to reveal the hotel façade decorated with passages from the poem “Liberty” by Paul Eluard. The Hotel Puerta América has 360 rooms (30 rooms per floor) and 644 parking spaces, with a total surface area of 34 thousand square metres. The junior suites will be located on either side of each floor (sitting room, bedroom and two bathrooms). There will also be 12 suites on the 12th floor.
